Attention Parents! If you have not already done so, it’s time to schedule your Final Conference for this year. Talk to your consultant to arrange a time. Conference week is June 6th through June 10th, 2005.
Please bring samples of the student’s work in each subject area. Parents of students who
took the ITBS test in March will be able to discuss the test results with consultants.
Don’t forget to discuss your plans for next year with your consultant. We need to know if your students will be continuing with the Off Campus Program next year.
Parents please note, all textbooks and library materials are due on June 3rd. We would appreciate you returning all materials on or before that date. We must complete our inventory by the last day of school.
Field Day
Off Campus News
There is still time to sign up for the Off Campus Field Day, Curriculum Buy-Sell-Trade, and BBQ. Field Day will be Wednesday, June 1, 2005, here at the Jenne-Wright gym and on Linder Field, nearby. This is a fun-filled day with lots of games and activities for all to enjoy. There will also be morning activities for all children who will begin kindergarten in the fall.
The day begins at 10:45 a.m. Parents may set up their curriculum in the Jenne-Wright boardroom. Students meet in the gym to gather into assigned teams for games. After parents have set up their materials, the Buy-Sell-Trade will begin. The
Buy-Sell-Trade closes at 12:00 to allow time to clean and set up for lunch.
The BBQ lunch is $3.00 per person. The menu is Hamburger, Cheese Burger or Hot Dog with all the fixings and potato salad, chips, punch and cookie. BBQ lunch must be preordered by Thursday, May 26th.
After lunch, the students will participate in additional games on the field. Fifth grade through 8th grade students can participate in a student vs. staff softball game, with parent permission. Parents are encouraged to watch the games, or visit. At 1:45 there will be an Awards Assembly in the gym to
conclude this fun-filled day.
Students must have permission slips and/or money for the BBQ lunch turned into the Off Campus office by Thursday, May 26th, in order to participate on a team for the activities.
